March & April 2026
Barcelona, (2) month summary.During these months, we have successfully launched our first project implementing direct communication between GIMM and PLCs using OPC UA (Unified Architecture) . This milestone represents an important step forward in the evolution of our software platform, enabling more secure, flexible, and future ready industrial connectivity. By adopting OPC UA, we strengthen our commitment to modern industrial standards and to delivering robust, scalable solutions that meet the demands of Industry 4.0 environments. Two new GIMM5. versions have been released to market, 5.0.012. and 5.0.013.. These latest software releases introduce a set of enhancements aimed at improving data accuracy, operational flexibility, and overall system usability. These updates focus on strengthening traceability, optimizing integration processes, and expanding analytical capabilities to support more efficient and data-driven operations.▶️A more advanced interface has been introduced to export production and traceability data in XML format, allowing greater control over data selection while ensuring consistency, completeness, and improved traceability. ▶️Material consumption in STOCS has been enhanced with the ability to specify a container number, enabling consumption from a particular container instead of strictly following FIFO rules, increasing flexibility in stock management. ▶️A new functionality allows the dynamic distribution of required quantities across different picklist types in the WebPicking, automatically allocating materials based on predefined rules. ▶️The user interface in GIMM PROCS workstations has been improved to display conformity confirmation messages more clearly within the process screens, enhancing usability and operator feedback. ▶️WebPicking capabilities have been expanded with options to enable material transfer after mass validation, improving operational efficiency. ▶️Integration with Pick to Light systems has been enhanced to support step-by-step confirmation during picking processes, even when using complete list or random validation modes. ▶️Additional validation options have been introduced for ASN data to ensure consistency with related files and master data, improving data integrity. ▶️A new reporting database and analytics tool has been introduced as a first step toward more advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting, supporting a more data-driven approach. All the details about our products and new releases are available for our customers in the Download Center accessible from the Download Center .
